Diana Galson-Kooy, Newton Highlands worked this Japanese scroll design using Japanese fabrics and Celtic Bias Applique.

Diana's Comments: I took a three-session class at the Button Box store in Needham after admiring a quilt made in the style I used for my quilt.(of course it took me many. I also wanted to get experience using twin needles.This design came out of a beautiful Japanese pattern book (all in Japanese). I would like to make other patterns in the book but first I have to find someone to translate the directions!
