Paper Pomegranate Submission Guidelines

The Paper Pomegranate is the official publication of the Pomgranate Guild of Judaic Needlework. It is published quarterly. Subscriptions are available only through membership in the Guild.

The magazine includes educational articles, projects with charted designs, chapters news, and national news.

Deadline for the Winter 2008 issue of the Paper Pomegranate is February 1 and it will be mailed out around April 1, 2008.

Manuscripts submitted in one of these formats can be considered for publication:

  • Copy pasted within the body of an email message. Attachments in MSWord or Word Perfect are also acceptable (as long as they aren't too large).
  • MS Word Document copied on a 3.5-inch floppy disk, mailed, accompanied by typed, double-spaced hard copy.
  • Hard copy, typed, double-spaced, mailed to the editor (address below).

Photos submitted in one of these formats can be considered for publication:

  • Graphic files (JPEG, TIF, PDF or BMP) emailed as an attachment, with a brief written description in an attached document or in the body of the email. If multiple images are sent, it is probably best to include only 1 or 2 per email.
  • Glossy black and white photo print.
  • Color photo print with sharp focus and high contrast.
  • Clear line drawing, black ink on white paper.
  • Graphic files (JPEG, TIF, PDF or BMP) copied on a 3.5-inch floppy disk or CD, mailed, with a brief written description.
  • Designs charted on Pattern Maker for Cross Stitch Professional v.3, copied on a 3.5-inch floppy disk or CD, mailed, with a brief written description.

If you wish your photo, disk, CD or manuscript to be returned please enclose an appropriate mailing envelope, stamped and self-addressed.
