Finding Katy: A Memoir
a book and a website by guild member Kay Faye Fialkoff. The collection of 28 short stories relate the theme of needle and thread carried by her grandfather and father from Russia to the United States as a result of escaping the 1905 pogroms, and what influences brought her to use needle and thread to create her needlework series, Prayers for the Earth. Prayers for the Earth, when complete, will be a series of 12 large-scale crewel embroideries celebrating wetlands, meadowlands, and woodlands. A recent EGA Needle Arts article is included on the site - in the "Publications" - section which shows more of Kay's needlework series.

Ruth is a guild member and has designed the Pomegranate logo jewelry once featured on the back cover of The Paper Pomegranate. Ruth will donate a percentage of sales to the guild as long as orders were identified as being from the Pomegranate Guild at the time they are placed.

The Six Million Stitches Project
was started by Pomegranate Guild member RitaNeedle (Rita Lenkin Hawkins z"l), to commemorate and honor Holocaust victims, survivors, and those people who risked their lives to save other lives during that time. She did not live to see it come to fruition, but the projects is now dedicated in her memory. Several Pomegranate members have contributed to this project.

a wonderful research site with articles on a variety of topics. Of special interest to guild members would be the article on the history of women wearing and making tallitot.
