Pioneer Valley Chapter Crafts with Recycled Kippot

by Barbara Sanofsky - President
Pioneer Valley Chapter

The kipot projects were really fun! We traded kipot and learned the trick to "disassembling" them and putting them back together. Our women made Torah covers for while the Torah was at rest, challah covers, tallit bags and Passover reclining pillows.

Now, we're on to needlepoint, which surprisingly, only two of our members do! Ethel Marcus offered to prepare all the materials needed. I copied the sheets I had used when teaching it at the Home Information Center years ago, and we all dove into either a Star of David or a Hamza on 18 mesh canvas with perle cotton 5.
