An Exhibit at the Katz Jewish Community Center

Voice of Gladness. The Chuppah, a traditional wedding canopy under which the wedding ceremony takes place, is shown in two views. The exterior view shows the lace trim and supporting poles decorated with flowers and tulle. From the inside of the canopy, flower garlands surround the verse: "The voice of joy and the voice of gladness. The voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride." This chuppah was made by Sheila Stern for use by her family.
